Our Impact

Cwmni Da has been major contributors to the local culture and economy for over 25 years.

Cwmni Da’s contribution to the local area, to Caernarfon, Gwynedd a Wales has been significant since the company was founded in 1997.

During that time our workforce have volunteered their services, have raised money for many charities and have played a vital part in local sport and culture.

Since moving to our home in the middle of Caernarfon, Cwmni Da staff have contributed daily to the town’s cultural and economic life, ensuring that the town has a vibrant community to enjoy throughout the year.

The Environment

Cwmni Da prioritises care for the environment in all our activities. Our productions follow the industry standard ALBERT procedure which minimises the environmental impact of our work and allows us to offset the carbon footprint of each production.

Our offices and studio at Goleuad operates fully on 100% green electricity and we are constantly introducing measures to reduce our environmental impact.

We encourage active travel and operate our own ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme to support staff who choose to commute on the excellent nearby cycle paths. Goleuad has two shower rooms for the use of staff.

Founded in 2011, albert supports the global Film and TV industry to reduce the environmental impacts of production and to create content that supports a vision for a sustainable future
